I refer to Question on Notice No. 7427, and ask:
(a) what grants and/or programs have been cut, suspended or not awarded due to any type of review of the Culture and Arts portfolio; and
(b) will the Minister list all applicants who have previously been funded via the Department of Culture and the Arts and have subsequently been refused funding for grants and/or programs since the election of the Barnett Government?

b) All of the DCA grant programs are undertaken on a competitive basis. Applications are assessed and grants are either approved or not approved by an independent panel of peers. Applicants are free to apply for each round of grants provided they meet the eligibility criteria.
