Neither the Minister nor the Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries has requested the WA Local Government Association (WALGA) to change its communication policy provided for the optional use of member local governments.
(a) Neither the Minister nor the Department has the legislative authority to intervene in regard to WALGA’s provision of suggested policies for optional use by member local governments. It is a member based organisation. If the members have a problem they can contact WALGA directly.
(b-d) Not applicable.
