I refer to the Department of Health currently constructing a new neonatal nursery at Kaleeya Hospital even though under the Clinical Services Framework, Kaleeya Hospital will close and its services will transfer to Fiona Stanley Hospital on commissioning in 2014, and I ask, will the Minister please advise:
(a) how many additional patients will be accommodated through the construction of the new neonatal nursery;
(b) how many beds in the surgical ward will be lost through the construction of the new neonatal nursery;
(c) the estimated cost of the construction of the new neonatal nursery;
(d) the estimated cost of the medical equipment and fixtures required to outfit the new neonatal nursery; and
(e) the list of, and cost of, medical equipment purchased for the new neonatal nursery that will not be able to be transferred to Fiona Stanley Hospital.
