I refer to the answers given to my question on notice No. 3877 on 17 May 2011 and the Remote Areas Drivers Licensing Steering Committee established by the Department of Transport, and I ask –
(1) What is the function of the Remote Areas Drivers Licensing Steering Committee?
(2) Does the scope of the Remote Areas Drivers Licensing Steering Committee include monitoring the level of implementation of all recommendations contained in the September 2007 report, ‘Indigenous Licensing and Fine Default A Clean Slate’?
(3) If no to (2), who is responsible for monitoring the level of implementation of the out of scope recommendations?
(4) Will the Remote Areas Drivers Licensing Steering Committee release information?
(5) If yes to (4) -
(a) what information will be released;
(b) when will the information be released; and
(c) who will the information be released to?
