(1) Telstra and Vodafone share the external infrastructure originally installed by Optus and therefore coverage is provided by these carriers.
(2) No.
(3) Not applicable
(4) Since April 2014, the Public Transport Authority (PTA) has continued discussions with the carriers to provide mobile phone coverage in the Perth to Fremantle tunnel. The PTA has agreed for Vodafone to provide the infrastructure which will be available for multi-carrier use and the detailed design process has progressed. It is anticipated that this infrastructure will be commissioned by mid-2016.
