1269. Hon NICK GOIRAN to the parliamentary secretary
representing the Attorney General:
I refer to calls during the recent
federal referendum campaign, and since, for a forensic audit of spending on
Indigenous issues.
(1) How many
charitable trust investigations has the Attorney General directed take place
pursuant to his powers under the Charitable Trusts Act 2022?
(2) Is the
Attorney General aware that the Western Australian Charitable Trusts Commission
may, as part of an investigation, carry out an audit of the accounts of a charitable
trust under investigation?
(3) How many
charitable trust investigations has the Attorney General referred to the Western
Australian Charitable Trusts Commission?
