With regard to a letter sent by Mr Shayne Allison to the Minister at his electorate office on January 14 2005, concerning a proposal for a recycling and timber industry in the Pilbara Region of Western Australia -
(1) Is the Minister aware of this letter sent on January 14 2005 to himself as the Member for Mining and Pastoral?
(2) Is the Minister aware of two phone calls made by Mr Allison to his electorate office, in relation to this letter and his proposal?
(3) If yes to (1) and (2), why has Mr Allison not been contacted in relation to his requests?
(4) Will the Minister ensure that the above letter and Mr Allison’s proposal receive his attention?
(5) Does the Minister recall a meeting he had with Mr Allison at Parliament House on December 10 2003, where he assured Mr Allison that he understood what Mr Allison was proposing and would assist wherever possible in taking his proposal to fruition?
(6) In relation to answers to all of the above, does the Minister consider Mr Allison’s proposal to be worthy of his attention and/or assistance?
