Public transport—Sundays—Fines
283. Hon Steve Martin to the parliamentary secretary representing the Minister
for Transport:
I refer to the
minister's answer to question on notice 93 asked on 10 April 2025.
(1) Of the 6,668 fines issued, how many were to
persons under the age of 17 years?
(2) Are the fines in
(1) registered for enforcement with the Fines Enforcement Registry?
(3) Is the minister aware that infringements can
be registered with enforcement by the FER only if the person was 17 years or
over at the time of the offence?
(4) In relation to points (2) and (3), how are
fines to persons under the age of 17 years enforced?
