The Department of Education engages in regular risk assessment and risk mitigation as part of risk management to ensure continuity of essential business. With respect to School Psychology Service, a failure to have sufficient school psychologists would lead to a risk that essential psychological services of assessment, diagnosis and intervention would be compromised.
The Department has processes and procedures in place to manage these risks.
