(a-d) The Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries receives regular phone calls and emails from local governments and members of the community in relation to the operation of the Dog Act 1976 (the Act). The Department does not have the authority to deal with complaints in relation to the Act, which, as per Section 9 of the Act, is administered and enforced by local governments.
