I thank the member for some notice of this question. (1) I am advised that the review of the Water Corporation’s odour modelling for the Woodman Point waste water treatment plant by Mr Owen Pitts was sought by the Environmental Protection Authority as part of its process to advise the Minister for the Environment on aspects of that plant pursuant to section 16(e) of the Environmental Protection Act 1986. I understand that the Environmental Protection Authority is still considering that review and will release it publicly as part of its advice to the minister. (2) Not applicable. (3) The Environmental Protection Authority’s advice will be made public as soon as practicable after it is received by the Minister for the Environment. This is expected to be in the third quarter of 2006.
