Albany ring-road project—Unresolved claims
1038. Hon Rod Caddies to
the parliamentary secretary representing the Minister
for Transport:
I refer to the
completion of the Albany ring-road project and the settlement of outstanding
matters with local landowners.
(1) Will the minister acknowledge that there are
unresolved claims from local landowners that are linked to the Albany ring-road
project?
(2) Will the minister commit to personally
intervene to resolve any outstanding matters with affected residents so that the
ARR project can be finalised?
(3) If no to (2), why not?

honourable member for some notice of the question and provide the following
answer on behalf of the Minister for Transport.
(1)–(3) There are two outstanding claims
relating to land acquisition. Main Roads is actively progressing these matters
with landowners.
