(1) What assumptions has the government built into the forward estimates for price increases in:
(a) water;
(b) public transport fares;
(c) motor vehicle licence fees;
(d) sewerage;
(e) compulsory third party insurance;
(f) driver’s licence fees;
(g) stamp duty on compulsory third party insurance;
(h) stamp duty on general insurance; and
(i) emergency services levy?
(2) What revenue increase has been assumed as a result of these price increase assumptions?

(2) Table 4 displays the year-on-year revenue increases associated with the above pricing assumptions. It should be noted that a majority of the additional revenue is forecast to be raised by agencies outside the general government sector and is required to meet increases in operating costs.
