(a) There is a very large number of Government owned buildings and it is not possible to give a precise answer in respect of all buildings without considerable research. However, Government owned buildings designed, constructed and maintained using water based air-conditioning would be expected to comply with standards and regulations applicable at the time of construction. AS 3666, Parts 1 and 2, and the Health (Air-handling and Water Systems) Regulations 1994 are the current applicable standards. (b) Not applicable. (c) It is not possible to give a precise answer in respect of all buildings without considerable research. However, buildings in which the Government leases office space would be expected to comply with standards and regulations applicable at the time of construction. AS 3666, Parts 1 and 2, and the Health (Air-handling and Water Systems) Regulations 1994 are the current applicable standards. (d) Buildings intended for leased Government office space will be checked for compliance with the above regulations and with AS 3666, Parts 1 and 2.
