Perth Park—Lot 551
130. Hon Anthony Spagnolo to the parliamentary
secretary representing the Minister for Transport:
I refer to the government's
identical responses to my previous questions regarding the land at lot 551 on
deposited plan 76986 required for the completion of Perth Park, which stated
only that negotiations with Crown "continue to progress positively".
I will set aside the government's admirable commitment to message discipline.
(1) Has Crown Perth, Burswood Nominees
Limited or any related entity approached the state government seeking the
purchase of this land by the government. If so, when was that approach first
made?
(2) Noting the government has publicly
ruled out purchasing the land from Burswood Nominees Limited, what exactly is
the government negotiating with Crown about?

on the public record for some time in relation to lot 551 and it is progressing
