I refer to question on notice No. 381 of Wednesday, December 19 2001 and answers provided -
(1) Will the Minister or the Department investigate to ascertain what mining tenements the road is associated with?
(2) If not, why not?
(3) Has there been any breaches of any mining tenement conditions along the full length of the road where it was constructed?
(4) If yes, can the Minister state what were these specific tenement conditions and why no forfeiture action was taken or a fine imposed?
(5) Can the Minister state the names of the mining tenement holders and tenement numbers where this road was constructed?
(6) If not, why not?
(7) Was this road constructed on or through private property?
(8) If yes, can the Minister provide details of ownership and lot numbers etc. of the private property?
(9) Has the Department provided incorrect and misleading information to the Minister in advising this road is not associated with any mining tenements or mining operations,
when in answering to question on notice No. 384 of Wednesday, December 19 2001, the Minister for Planning and Infrastructure identified that the road traversed mining tenements?
(10) If yes, will the Minister ensure that this does not happen again?
(11) If no to (9), why not?
(12) Were all the necessary approvals obtained before the construction of the road commenced?
(13) If yes, can the Minister list all the approvals that were required and the dates when they were granted?

(1 to 13) As previously indicated in answer to question on notice 381 this road is not associated with any activities related to any mining tenements and the Department of Mineral and Petroleum Resources is not in a position to provide any further comment on the matter.
