I refer to page 400 of Budget Paper No. 2, Volume 2, line-item "Firearms Reform Program", and I ask: (a) which organisations or individuals have been contracted by the Government to destroy firearms in Western Australia; (b) how many firearms have been seized since the new legislation came into effect; (c) how many firearms have been destroyed since the new legislation came into effect; and (d) does Western Australia Police Force notify former owners of seized firearms about the status of their seized firearms following their destruction or disposal?

(a)   The Western Australia Police Force is unable to provide a response due to operational sensitivities.
(b)   As at 19 September 2025, there have been 3,045 firearms seized under Operation Larkman.
(c)   As at 19 September 2025, there have been 9,695 firearms destroyed.
