I refer to the Department of Housing's three strikes policy, and I ask:
(a) how many Homeswest tenancies have been terminated as a direct result of this policy between April 2011 to 29 February 2012;
(b) how many people do these terminated tenancies represent;
(c) how many children do these tenancies represent; and
(d) other than the tenancies terminated under the three strikes policy, how many other Homeswest tenancies have been terminated between April 2011 and 29 February 2012, and what were the grounds for termination?

The Department of Housing advises:
(a) 53 tenancies have been terminated following issue of termination notice, issue of a Court Order or through Bailiff Eviction as a result of the Disruptive Behaviour Management Strategy.
(b) The Department of Housing does not collect data by number of people within each tenancy.
(c) The Department of Housing does not collect data according to tenancies with or without children.
(d) 252 other tenancies have been terminated following issue of termination notice, issue of a Court Order or through Bailiff Eviction. These tenancies were terminated on the grounds of arrears, illegal drug activity, other illegal activity and other.
