(a) term of Government employees;
(b) permanent public servants; and
(c) seconded or on placement from other Departments or Agencies?
(3) Of those who are seconded or on placement, -
(a) from which Department or Agency are they seconded;
(b) which Department or agency pays their salary;
(c) which Department or Agency bears the cost of their leave entitlements;
(d) which Department or Agency bears the cost of any vehicle leasing fees (where applicable); and
(e) which Department or Agency bears the cost of any other incidental employment expenses, such as mobile phones and travel?

(1) As at 24 April 2009 there were 43 people working in the Cabinet and Policy Division of the Department of the Premier and Cabinet.
(2) (a) One (continuously employed as of 25 May 1998)
(b) 29 (including secondments and placements)
(c) 7
Note: There are 6 officers who are on fixed term contracts under the PSM Act.
(3) (a) Department of Treasury and Finance
Department of Planning and Infrastructure (x2)
Department of Mines and Petroleum
Department of Water
Public Transport Authority
Public Sector Commission
(b-c) For four staff the home agency of the secondee pays the salary and seeks a recoup from the Department of the Premier and Cabinet including the cost of leave entitlements. Those departments are:
Department of Treasury and Finance
Public Transport Authority
Public Sector Commission
Department of Planning and Infrastructure
For three staff the home agency pays the salary and bears the cost of the leave entitlements. These officers are on temporary placement to assist with the development of policies having cross agencies inpact. Those departments are:

Department of Mines and Petroleum
Department of Water
(d) Department of Treasury and Finance for one vehicle
