Prisons—Staffing model
221. Hon Dr Brad Pettitt to the minister
representing the Minister for Corrective Services:
I refer to the
letter sent to me from Director General Kylie Maj—ministerial reference
70-47822—specifically regarding the review of staffing in public
prisons that began in May 2024 to develop a new prison staffing model.
(1) Has the review been completed?
(2) Has the new prison staffing model been
finalised and when is it expected to be operational?
(3) Will the minister table a copy of the new
prison staffing model?
(4) If no to (1), (2) and/or (3), why not?
