I refer to the land cleared to the west and north of Moorpark Avenue in Yanchep, and I ask: (a) could the Minister please advise what dust suppression measures are required for land cleared for new developments in the metropolitan area; (b) could the Minister please advise who is responsible for carrying out these dust suppression measures; and (c) could the Minister please advise which agency is responsible for monitoring and enforcing that the dust suppression measures are carried out?

(a) Dust suppression measures for land development activities are outlined in the Guidelines for managing the impacts of dust and associated contaminants from land development sites , contaminated sites remediation and other related activities prepared by the Department of Water and Environmental Regulation.
(b) A proponent and/or developer is responsible for carrying out dust suppression measures and this may include measures established in a Dust Management Plan.
(c) For land development activities, this is generally the responsibility of the local government.
