(1) The State Water Conservation Strategy was not finalised because its main recommendations were incorporated into the State Water Strategy released in February 2003. (2) Implementation of the State Water Strategy is a very high priority for the Government. Chapter 4 of the State Water Strategy is on water conservation and efficiency and includes 30 tasks out of a total of 84 tasks in the Strategy. (3) Please refer to the answer to question 1.
