administer their own hormone replacement therapies previously prescribed by a
medical professional for the purposes of effecting/maintaining medical
transition while staying in the hospital?

I thank the member for some notice of this question.
(1)–(2) Yes.
(3) No. Gender
reassignment services, including surgical interventions, are not currently
available at Swan District Hospital, and there is no intention, nor has there
ever been any, for WA Health to purchase these services at Midland Public
Hospital.
