The process for filling roles within the new Tourism Western Australia structure took into account established Public Sector restructuring principles.
The key process steps were as follows:
?     Open advertising of senior executive and specialist roles (open to existing employees and the general public).
?     Expression of Interest for transfer to the remaining roles (available to all permanent Australian based employees of Tourism Western Australia).
?     Direct transfer to remaining vacant roles where appropriate (from permanent Australian based employees not placed through the Expression of Interest process).
?     Open advertising of remaining permanent roles not filled through Expression of Interest or direct transfer.
