the statutory review of the Commissioner for Children and Young People Act 2006
would be tabled in the new year. Will the Attorney General tell the house when
the response will be tabled; and, if not, why not?

I thank the honourable member for
some notice of the question. The statutory review remains under consideration
and will be tabled in due course. Further work to augment the review has been
completed, and I am considering how to ensure the effective and efficient
delivery of operations under the Commissioner for Children and Young People Act
2006.
