The Minister for Environment has provided the following response.
Silvicultural records of areas thinned are maintained on a calendar (rather than financial) year basis to align with reporting requirements under the respective Forest Management Plans. Information for the 2014 calendar year is still being complied.
(a)-(b)The volume of first and second grade karri sawlogs estimated to be available was 2 625 cubic metres for 2011, 2 020 cubic metres for 2012 and 332 cubic metres for 2013. These figures do not include karri logs delivered from operations involving a mixture of thinning and clearfelling of older stands regenerated prior to 1940.
(c)-(d) Nil
(e) The volume of karri chiplogs estimated to be available was 84 797 cubic metres for 2011, 55 928 cubic metres for 2012 and 64 029 cubic metres for 2013.
