Gender affirming medical care is provided by East Metropolitan Health Service for adults and Child and Adolescent Health Services for children across Western Australia. Care is provided by multi-disciplinary teams including endocrinologists, psychiatrists, psychologists, speech therapists, nurses and fertility specialists. Commencement of gender-affirming treatment does not depend solely on the availability of the endocrinology specialty.
