I refer to Minister’s media release of 29 April 2010 headlined ‘Pilbara Cities project to deliver affordable housing for Karratha service workers’, and I ask:
(a) how many affordable rental accommodation for non-resource sector employees have been completed ready for occupation by residents;
(b)
what is
the rent for these residences;
(c) what system does the State Government have in place to ensure that resource sector workers do not occupy these houses;
(d) was there a competitive tender process to allocate the 1.3 hectares of land that was awarded to Finbar to develop high rise apartments and a vibrant blend of cafes, offices and shops;
(e) what other companies bidded for this land; and
(f) has any development been completed for occupation by residents in this Finbar development?
