Following my question of which some notice was given on 4 May 2004, concerning the Government’s proposed changes to the taxi users subsidy scheme, I now ask - (1) When was the Minister for Disability Services made aware of the Department for Planning and Infrastructure’s plan to cut subsidies for members of the scheme relying on wheelchairs? (2) Was the decision a cabinet decision; and, if so, when did Cabinet approve it? (3) On what dates and by what means did the minister lobby the Minister for Planning and Infrastructure to abandon the measures? Hon LJILJANNA RAVLICH
