AUBIN GROVE TRAIN STATION
49. Hon KEN TRAVERS to the
parliamentary secretary representing the Minister for Transport:
(1) Can the
minister explain why it cost $11 300 for the graphic of the Aubin Grove train
station when the cost of three graphics and two animations for the proposed
Ellenbrook rapid transit was only $5 386.50?
(2) Has the
Public Transport Authority completed the master plan for the Aubin Grove train
station?
(3) If yes to
(2), will the minister table it?
(4) If no to (2),
when does the minister expect it will be completed?

AnswerView source ↗

I thank the
honourable member for some notice of this question.
(1) It was a
stand-alone graphic, which therefore affects price relative to a package of
graphics. The cost for the Aubin Grove graphic is broadly consistent with the
costs incurred for similar work produced for the previous Labor government for
the Mandurah rail line project if those costs were escalated.
(2) No.
(3) Not
applicable.
(4) The PTA
anticipates that the master plan will be available for the minister's
consideration mid-2014.
