HEALTH —
WORKFORCE — RECRUITMENT
478. Hon TJORN SIBMA to the minister representing the
Minister for Health:
I
refer to the minister's 14 April media statement ''Important
staffing boost for WA hospitals'', which outlined plans to launch
an advertising campaign and a national and international recruitment drive to
fill nursing positions.
(1) When will the campaign start
and for how long will it run?
(2) How much will
be spent on the overall campaign, and what is the breakdown of spending through
the following channels —
(a) television;
(b) radio;
(c) print;
(d) social media; and
(e) other avenues?
(3) Which states and countries will
the advertising be focused on?
(4) Has the campaign, if it has
started, resulted in any new permanent contracts?
(5) If yes to (4), how many?
