With regards to the new Mirrabooka Bus Station, is it the intention of the Public Transport Authority (PTA) to drive buses along the new Sudbury Road in front of the refurbished Mirrabooka Bus station, and if so:
(a) why is the PTA not using the bus port access road;
(b) what steps are being taken to protect pedestrians walking across the plaza area at Mirrabooka bus station in the event that the PTA stands by its decision not to use the bus port access road;
(c) will the speed limit on Sudbury Road be lowered to adequately reflect its status as a thoroughfare for pedestrians; and
(d) what will the frequency of buses be on Sudbury Road?

(b) The Sudbury Road entrance was designed to accommodate pedestrian flows.
(c) The speed limit is determined by the City of Stirling in consultation with Main Roads Western Australia.
(d) The weekday frequency is seven buses per hour in each direction in the section of Sudbury Road between Yirrigan Drive and the Mirrabooka Bus Station.
