I refer to page 14 of the Water Corporation’s Strategic Development Plan 2014/15 to 2018/19 , which assumes a 6 per cent annual price increase for the average household customer, and I ask, what would be the financial outcomes for all results outlined in this table if the assumed 6% annual increases were replaced with annual increases of: (a) 2.5 per cent; (b) 3 per cent; (c) 4 per cent; and (d) 5 per cent?

The actual tariffs that apply to customer bills are approved on an annual basis as part of the household Tariffs, Fees & Charges deliberations during the State Budget process. It is therefore not appropriate to speculate on future tariff increases and the request for costings on the alternative tariff increases cannot be provided.
