I make the point that the time
between the member lodging the question and the answer needing to be prepared
is four hours. When the member asks a question that is looking for detailed
information going back over seven years, it is just not possible to provide
that. The member wastes a question in this place because he gets this as an
answer.
Noting that ministerial office
staffing reports are publicly available and tabled regularly in Parliament, the
level of information sought by the member,
which extends over a seven-year period, is not able to be provided in the
limited time available. If the member places the question on notice, the
Premier will endeavour to provide a response.
