I refer to the Child Sexual Abuse Therapeutic Services
(CSATS) and Indigenous Healing Services (IHS) contracts, which are due to
conclude on 30 September 2026, and I ask:(a) Will the Government renew these contracts beyond that date;(b) If yes to (a), for what duration and at what level of funding;(c) If no to (a), what alternative service arrangements will be put in place;(d) What assessment has been undertaken of current
demand and wait times for these services; and(e) What additional funding would be required to meet current demand and reduce
waitlists?

(a - b) The Department of Communities (Communities) has provided communications to all funded Child Sexual Abuse Therapeutic Services and Indigenous Healing Services providers regarding contract extensions from 1 October 2026 to 31 December 2027, inclusive of maintaining existing funding uplifts.

(d – e) Waitlist data is not held by Communities.
