I refer to question on notice No. 3054 and I ask -
(1) What performance statistics are collected regarding the work of the authorised officers employed by the -
(a) Public Transport Authority;
(b) Swan Transit, Path Transit and Southern Coast bus services; and
(c) Transperth’s contract bus security company, Wilsons Security?
(2) Will the Minister table a copy of the statistics for each of these different groups of authorised officers for the periods of -
(a) 1 July 2009 to 30 June 2010; and
(b) 1 July 2010 to 31 December 2010?
(3) If no to (2), why not?

advises:
Insofar as the Public Transport Authority (PTA) is concerned and when considering the answer provided to Question on Notice No 3054 about how many on road bus inspectors does the PTA employ:
(1a - b) Performance statistics are collected on a range of targets including the number of makeup fares collected, the number of scheduled bus trips checked and the percentage of fare evasion.
(c) Nil
(2a - b) No
(3)  The Member is encouraged to utilise the Freedom of Information process.
