The Minister for Industry and Enterprise has provided the following response: (1) Yes (a) The proposed arrangements have been overtaken by the reallocation of ministerial responsibilities last December. It is now proposed to establish a new Science and Innovation Council chaired by the Chief Scientist, which will report to the Premier as Minister for Innovation; Science. TIAC will continue to operate in accordance with the Industry and Technology Development Act (1998).
