The PRESIDENT : Order! Hon Ken Travers has been in this
chamber long enough to know that he should not get up and walk in the line
between the member on their feet and the Chair, whoever is in the chair. I just
ask him to show a few common courtesies and to read the standing orders in
relation to that.
Hon GIZ WATSON : I will continue —

I thank the honourable member for some notice of this
question.
(1)–(6)
The government is very conscious of the critically endangered status of the
western ground parrot and is committed to continuing the recovery project for
this species as well as broader work on threatened fauna recovery on the south
coast.
