On behalf of the Minister for

The Department of Fire and Emergency Services advises —

resources across both the Department of Fire and Emergency Services and local
government, which together will assist priority local governments in developing
bushfire risk management plans. Priority areas include the great southern,
lower south west, south west, Perth metropolitan, midwest ,
Gascoyne and goldfieldsQQQ ### QQQmidland regions. DFES will be contacting local governments by letter shortly.
(2) An additional $4.7 million has been approved by cabinet
for the extension of the BRMP process.
(3) This
matter was recently under cabinet consideration. The minister will consider
tabling the relevant sections of the report in the near future.
