I refer to the Minister's response to question without notice 1289 regarding the environmental license conditions that apply to the export of iron ore product at the Port of Geraldton, and I ask: (a) can the Minister please provide details of the quantum of funds allocated specifically to the mitigation of iron ore dust at the Port of Geraldton within the Mid-West Port Authority's capital improvement program for 2023-24 and 2024-25; and (b) can the Minister please provide a list of the proposed capital improvements?

1.       With reference to capital improvements at the Port of Geraldton relating to the mitigation of iron ore dust, MWPA currently has $860K of capital currently allocated for works in 2023/24.
2.       The list of capital improvements include:
·         Two further dry foggers to be installed with the iron-ore conveyor circuit
·         Dry fogger system to be installed on Berth 5 iron ore shiploader
