I refer to the Mental Health Commission budget, and ask -
(1) Is any funding for the Commission directed to the care or treatment of people suffering from dementia?
(2) If yes to (1), how much?

(1-2) Yes. The Mental Health Commission currently purchases inpatient and community based Specialised Mental Health Services that are provided to people suffering from a wide range of mental health conditions including dementia. Consistent with other mental health conditions, dementia is not funded separately. Services for people with dementia are also often provided in general wards and by other community services and are included in the Department of Health budget.
