I refer to the planning and construction of aged care independent living accommodation units in Jigalong, and I ask: (a) how much funding was provided by the Department of Housing to the project: (i) what other agencies were partners in the project; and (ii) how much funding was provided by the agencies in (a)(i); (b) what was the total value of funding for the project and the completion date; (c) will the Minister table a copy of the original funding agreement reached before commencement of the project; (d) when did the Department of Housing transfer management of the properties to the Jigalong Council; (e) what were the terms of the transfer of management of the properties from the Department of Housing to the Jigalong Council; and (f) will the Minister table a copy of the management transfer?

The Housing Authority advises:
(a) $1.805 million was provided under the National Partnership Agreement on Remote Indigenous Housing.
(b) $1.805 million and the completion date was 24 June 2010.
(c) There is no specific agreement, it was funded under the National Partnership Agreement on Remote Indigenous Housing in 2008.
(d) 24 June 2010.
(e)-(f) The houses were not built on the Housing Authority's land, therefore no transfer agreement was required. The houses were built on the Aboriginal Lands Trust Estate, with housing management in the community provided by the Jigalong Community Council.
