I refer to the 2010-11 Department of Education Services Annual Report, Page 20, and I ask:
(a) why were only Independent Public School Principals and Board Chairs visited and consulted in preparing the draft Independent Review Process;
(b) why was only the IPS Principals’ Group consulted for feedback during the development of the final Independent Review Process;
(c) will all School Board Members be directly consulted before the Independent Review Process is finalised and if not why not;
(d) will parents who are not members of the School Boards be directly consulted before the Independent Review Process is finalised and if not why not;
(e) will teachers be directly consulted before the Independent Review Process is finalised and if not why not;
(f) will non-teaching staff in schools be directly consulted before the Independent Review Process is finalised and if not why not; and
(g) will the review process itself include direct consultation with the groups listed in (c), (d), (e) and (f) and if not why not?

(a) The Independent Public School Principals and Board Chairs were not the only ones visited and consulted in preparing the draft Independent Review Process.
(b) The Independent Public School Principals' Group were not the only ones consulted for feedback during the development of the final Independent Review Process.
(c)-(g) As part of the Independent Review Process direct consultation with the groups listed in (c)-(f) may occur, if and when required by the reviewer as it is not practical for the reviewer to consult directly with all School Board members, parents, teachers and non-teaching staff across the State.
