On 6 November 2014 a fire occurred at 19 Braithwaite Rd., Lockridge in a property owned by the Department of Housing, and I ask: (a) has the government determined the cause of the fire, and if so what was it; (b) was a report prepared that outlined the investigation into the fire and its cause, and if so will the Minister release that report or reports; and (c) what action if any is the Government taking in relation to the cause of the fire?

The Department of Housing advises:
(a)-(c)
The Department is awaiting advice from the appropriate authorities investigating the matter and will determine any appropriate action upon receipt of this advice. The Department has rehoused all of the residents at the complex who identified the need for alternative accommodation and is considering the future use of the site after demolition is completed.
