787. Hon Norm Kelly to the Attorney General representing the Minister for Works
(1) Given the recent increases in the price differential between petrol and liquified petroleum gas (LPG), has the take-up rate of LPG-fuelled Government vehicles increased?
(2) How many vehicles are not on the trial?
(3) When does the Government expect to achieve its stated commitment to having 300 vehicles participating in the trial?
(4) As the trial has now been running for more than two years, will the Minister for the Environment table results gained from the trial?
(5) Will the Minister table the advice from the Government fleet manager, referred to in question on notice 1655 (answered on May 11 2000)?
(6) If not, why not?
(7) Given the increased fuel pricing benefits of LPG, is the Minister willing to show some leadership, and commit to obtaining an LPG powered vehicle when her current Government-supplied vehicle is due to be replaced?
