The member wants me to predict the outcome of the election.
Here is my prediction.
Point of Order
Mr B.S. WYATT : Mr
Speaker, you are forever asking the opposition to get to the point of
questions. I asked the minister to rule out the fee increase. The Treasurer is
attempting to answer a very different question. I ask you to direct him to the
question I asked.
The SPEAKER : He
stood up only 10 seconds ago.
Questions without Notice Resumed
Dr M.D. NAHAN : The
question, which the member forgot within five seconds, was: would I rule out
accepting the National Party's user charge fee if it controlled the
balance of power at the next election? He forgot that part. I said that he was
asking me to predict the outcome of the election, and I am. I will. We will win
in a landslide DOH!. Iron ore prices will be back and everything will be
hunky-dory.
