(a) when will site works commence;
(b) has a building contract been let; and
(i) if so, on what date was the contract let and who won the tender; and
(ii) if not, on what date is it proposed to advertise the contract and on what date is it proposed to close tenders;
(c) what is the current estimated completion date;
(d) how many police officers are proposed to be housed at the facility;
(e) how many other staff are proposed to be housed at the facility;
(f) how many square metres are proposed for the internal building space;
(g) how many external square metres are proposed;
(h) how many parking bays will be provided for police cars;
(i) how many parking bays will be provided for the private vehicles of police and other staff;
(j) what lock up facilities, if any, are proposed for the hub;
(k) how much have WA Police paid for the site;
(l) who has the money been paid to and on what date was it paid; and
(m) will the Minister table the plans for the police hub?

(a) An indicative program prepared by the Department of Finance - Building Management and Works (BMW) estimates construction commencing on site in January 2016.

(ii) Based on the BMW indicative program it is estimated the project would be tendered in October 2015 and awarded in January 2016.
(c) Based on the BMW indicative program it is estimated the building would be completed in October 2017 with occupation in November 2017.
(d) It is currently planned for the new facility to accommodate 120 police officers.
(e) It is currently planned for the new facility to accommodate 4 police staff.
(f) Based on the Project Definition Plan. the Total Area is 3960m

, which consists of a basement (predominantly parking) of 1815m
2
, two levels of accommodation 1950m
2
and staff outdoor space (part of the built form) of 195m

.
(g) The proposed footprint of the building will occupy most of the site except for some minor landscaping and visitor parking of approximately 9 bays.
