I refer to the government response to Recommendation 3,
of the ‘Impact of FIFO Work Practices on Mental Health’ report, and I ask: (a) is the case management system now operational; (b) does the system enable extraction of suicide
statistics for FIFO workers, whether the death occurred on a mine site or at
another location; (c) if yes to (b), please provide the number of FIFO
worker suicide/suspected suicide deaths for the most recent financial year
available; (d) if no to (a): (i) why not; and (ii) when is it anticipated the system will be
operational; and (e) if no to (b), why not?
