Hon Stephen Dawson replied:I
thank the honourable member for some notice of the question.(1)–(2)The construction
of planned small cell-base stations on Rat Island in the Easter Group and
Coronation Island in the Pelsaert Group were unable to proceed due to a lack of
suitable landing facilities and access for the tower infrastructure and
associated construction and radio equipment. Alternative solutions were considered;
however, these options were not accepted by multiple stakeholders.
