I refer to school health nurses employed by the Department of Health, and I ask: (a) what was the total amount of funding allocated for the provision of school health nurses in the 2020-2021 financial year for: (i) government schools; and (ii) non-government schools; and (b) how many school health nurses, by headcount and FTE, are currently permanently based in: (i) public primary schools; (ii) public secondary schools; (iii) non-government primary schools; and (iv) non-government secondary schools?

I am advised:
(a) (i)-(ii) Total - $17,397,858
(b) (i) Nil. Nurses are not permanently placed in public primary schools. A total of 91.1 FTE provide services to primary schools. A total of 23.3 FTE provide Ed Support Services to primary and secondary schools.
(ii) 70 FTE
(iii)-(iv) Nil
